Tantora Black Stars

Tantora Black Stars are another high quality natural product from the international aquarium brand, Tantora International.This product has stronger organic acids (tannins) than Indian Almond Leaves, and have the same impact, including the reduction of pH of your water and anti-bacterial properties.

The acids and tannin’s have anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties, which assist in the prevent of diseases and stimulates breeding.

This package includes 15 pieces.

Use: In order to sink the product more quickly, we recommend boiling these for a few minutes before adding the to the aquarium. Use 1 piece per 30 litres of water.

ShrimpCity Comments:

We use numerous natural products in all of our shrimp tanks, in order to simulate the environment from where the shrimp originate. This includes a mix of mosses, plants, wood and leaf litter, which are replaced as and when required. The anti-bacterial properties, increased surface area for feeding, and hiding space for moulting females are a large contributor to the success of our tanks. We recommend boiling most natural products for several minutes before cooling, and then placing these into your tanks, as this assists in the product sinking once placed in the aquarium.
