NatureHolic – Betta Feed

Fighting fish are carnivores! For this reason, a normal flake food or granulated food for ornamental fish, which is offered as “complete food for ornamental fish” or similar, is not suitable for bettas. The high proportion of vegetable substances in these foods harms the fighting fish and can even make it sick in the long run.

NatureHolic Bettafeed soft granules have been optimized in their composition to meet the needs of fighting fish and other carnivores. However, fighting fish do not only need pure animal proteins. A small proportion of vegetable substances imitates the intestinal contents of prey animals, with which the beautiful bettas in nature ultimately eat a certain amount of plant food. Garlic extract has a strengthening effect and can supportthe immune system and also make it strong against parasites.

Since crustaceans make up a large portion of the diet of carnivores in nature, we use omega-3 fish oil as well as the easily digestible krill as a source of unsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), which have a positive effect on the condition and growth of the bettas. A high dose mix of important vitamins helps prevent deficiency symptoms. Bettafeed is very greedily absorbed and does not cloud the water.

NatureHolic Bettafeed has a soft consistency and its softness is reminiscent of insect larvae in nature. The soft beads protect the delicate fish mouth from micro-cracks and other injuries caused by hard food grains.

With the NH Color+ high performance additive we support the colors of the fish. Unlike most of our competitors’ products, we have not only included astaxanthin as the only color booster here, but instead draw on 5 different color boosters: beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, lycopene and astaxanthin. These carotenoids not only push the color power of the fish, but also have a positive effect on the immune system and reproduction in bettas.

With the NH Energy+ complex of specially selected amino acids and serviates, such as L-carnitine or gamma-aminobutyric acid, we not only push the condition of your fighting fish, but also support its healthy growth. In professional aquaculture these amino acids have been used for a long time, now they are also available to your Betta in the aquarium.

Your betta will be better supplied with nutrients through the NH Fulvin+ complex with the humic substance fulvic acid or fulvic acid. Fulvins not only transport vitamins, trace elements and minerals and ensure better absorption, they can also bind pollutants to themselves. Fulvins have a positive effect on the digestion and immune system of ornamental fish in the aquarium and thus contribute to a long life expectancy. They can also limit harmful germs in growth.

Fighting fish love the species-appropriate NatureHolic Bettafeed. Thanks to the high-quality, readily available nutrients, the food is well metabolized by the fish and  thanks to the good digestibility, no excess nutrients get into the water via the fish feces, therefore the aquarium water does not become cloudy.

Feeding advice: feed your Betta several times a day with an amount that will be eaten within a few minutes. NatureHolic Bettafeed contains no cheap fillers – there is power in here! The concentrated food formula is the reason that the fighting fish food goes down a little faster than other fish foods. Therefore, feed smaller amounts, but several times a day.
